The Youth Summer Safety Program is a high-impact, 3-day initiative created to empower young people with the awareness, skills, and confidence they need to navigate summer safely and responsibly. Hosted in Jackson, TN from June 23-25, this fun and engaging evening program is completely free and open to youth across the community. Through hands-on learning, games, mentorship, and real-world safety scenarios, participants will build life-saving skills in an energetic, welcoming environment.
Program Highlights:

Day 1 – Firearm Safety: Learning what a firearm is, why it is never a toy, and the critical steps to follow if one is encountered: Stop. Don’t Touch. Step Away. Tell an Adult.

Day 2 – Personal & Public Safety: Understanding boundaries, recognizing warning signs, and building self-confidence and safe decision-making at home, in neighborhoods, and in public spaces.

Day 3 – Situational Awareness in Action: Real-life scenarios, team challenges, and drills that prepare students to react smart and stay safe.

This year’s program also features the official debut of the U2AC SuperCats—a team of kid-friendly safety mascots who make learning about safety fun and memorable.
